Clerk Dorothy Discusses Board President’s Race with Cook County’s Indian and Pakistani Media

Dorothy Brown met with members of the Indian and Pakistani media to discuss her Candidacy for the Cook County Board President’s Office.  The meeting was part of Clerk Brown’s effort to reach out and involve all the diverse communities of Cook County in her campaign of reform, innovation and fiscal responsibility.

“Cook County is in a fiscal and mismanagement crisis,” said Dorothy Brown.  “My campaign is reaching out to everyone in Cook County.  We need to work together to bring the change Cook County government needs and its voters deserve.  Between now and February 2nd, I will be campaigning in every ward and township, listening to voters and hearing their concerns.”

Dorothy Brown is the only candidate in the race who has proposed detailed plans to reform Cook County government and end the fiscal and mismanagement crisis.  During her meeting today Clerk Brown outlined her vision for Cook County, including a plan to lower the sales-tax and bring assistance to business owners through a Small Business Administration Office.  More information about Dorothy Brown’s story, her vision for Cook County, and other campaign news is available on her website at www.friendsofdorothybrown.org.
